The only exceptions to this rule are:
- if you have an undiagnosed Notifiable Infectious Disease, or
- if we have good reason to believe that you may present a danger to yourself and/or others.
In both cases we may inform your GP.
Everything else is kept entirely and always confidential (including from members of your family) unless we have your explicit consent otherwise.
We sometimes discuss cases between ourselves, in the interests of giving you the highest-quality treatment. When we discuss cases, we are always in a private room with no other people present, and we do not disclose patient identities to each other. We do not discuss cases with anyone else.
